Doug lives on the water like you and I live on the land. He knows just about every passage and rocky non-passage in the San Juans. I boat out of Cap Sante Marina, Anacortes, WA, gateway to the San Juans. So I use his book a lot. This is an informative, useful, entertaining book. I recommend it. A bible for Pacific Northwest boaters!
