The expedition of Francisco Vazquez de Coronado, in search of Cibola, the fabled Seven Cities of Gold, consisted of some 400 Spaniards and more than 1,000 Native Americans, along with thousands of horses, pigs, ships and cattle. Coronado wanted to follow in the footsteps of other Spanish conquistadores, such as Hern?n Cort?s, who conquered the Aztec empire, and Francisco Pizarro Gonz?lez, who conquered the Incas. After inflicting much carnage among the indigenous Indians, the expedition ended in failure and Coronado joined the ranks of other brutal conquistadores. This publication, "Expedition Of Coronado", details his journey from 1540 - 1542.
