Love the book. It was all about cases that Encyclopedia Brown was trying to solve. There were always bad and mean people in each case.

Very enjoyable reading. The clues are never too easy or too hard. The only problem is the case of the missing tennis balls. It seems EB may have gone out on a limb in quckly passing judgement based solely on the suspect knowing that tennis balls come three to a pack after claiming earlier that he knew nothing of tennis. Is it not possible that the suspect noticed this while in the tennis pro shop?
