I had forgotten how well Linda Francis Lee writes, I read "Blue Waltz" several years back. Her writing style is above ordinary, not only because she draws her characters down to a fine line but she uses words like an artist uses paints. The women and men in her stories, though not without flaws, are strong and ultimately forgiving. Who among us cannot use a little of that. Do not err by classifying this as a piece of romantic fluff. It is well above that and worth the time spent reading just for the pure pleasure.
