A Non-denominational Christian Pastor's Review of "Elisabeth of Schonau: The Complete Works"

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and have sent it to many of my ministers throughout the country for their perusal. I enjoyed the fact that Elisabeth was able to see and have conversations with various Catholic Saints, etc., and that she was having visions and conversations with the people in Heaven. I particularly liked her experience, where she tells about how the doorway to Heaven was opened and the saints, angels and Our Lady were able to come in and out of the doorway to Heaven. The book was extremely enlightening! Catherine was chosen by Heaven, due to her purity and holiness, to be one of the top mystics and seers of her time. Her experiences during her lifetime continue to affect all Christians seeking the utmost will of Almighty God for their life during these harried and troublesome times in which we are currently living. This is not a book for the person who does not take the Kingdom of Heaven seriously. This is a wonderful, wonderful book for the pure of heart and spirit, and those who truly would like to become closer to Almighty God and to know more about Himself and His Kingdom!
