Much-Needed Alternate Take on Fantasy Comics

Kudos to "Clumsy" artist Jeffrey Brown for compiling this 128-page collection of indie "alternate" takes on the fantasy genre. Brown also contributes a 2-page story of his own that sets the whimsical and humorous tone for the rest of the anthology. Like all compilations, the stories are hit-and-miss, and your enjoyment will be directly related to how immersed you already are in the fantasy genre. Let's hope that future entries into this series take fantasy even further "out-of-the-box".
