We used this book in a home school co-op setting. The experiments were easy enough for the students to participate hands-on. The supplies were ordinary household items or very easy to purchase at discount or grocery stores, very inexpensive, too. It was appropriate for students in second grade through middle school and every kid was fascinated by concepts presented. I recommend this book highly for homeschool families but this would serve as a great summer unit for students in a school setting as well. It was thought-provoking to learn the amount of science involved in nearly every aspect of every sport!
