Doctor Houseplant: An Indispensable Guide to Keeping Your Houseplants Happy and Healthy

Doctor Houseplant provides all you need to know about the maintenance and care of your favorite houseplants.

Introduce gorgeous greenery into your apartment or home with houseplants. As well as being affordable and easy to transport if you move, nothing helps more to instantly create a lively and inviting interior than houseplants. You can start small and build a plant collection as your confidence develops.

To care for your collection, you'll need to take into consideration every plant's individual needs. While some plants are easy to care for--particularly cacti, succulents, and snake plants (Sansevieria trifasciata)--some of the most spectacular may need a little extra love.

This comprehensive guide to houseplants covers 42 of the most popular houseplants, with all the information you need to help them thrive, including ideal conditions and common concerns, as well as the plant's common names and the varieties available.

Has more detail than a beginner's guide, but still an easy read

Once I started getting the hang of my houseplant care, I wanted something with a bit "more". This book dives in to about 40 common houseplants, and it gets pretty detailed without being too difficult to understand. I appreciated that it discussed fertilization and repotting for each plant, unlike my other houseplant guide. This probably won't be the best resource if you are a houseplant expert, but if you're anything like me, slowly getting into the hobby, then I think this is a nice introduction.
