Two very good wild west stories.

Track of the Snake involves a young man Clay Pearson who has had to become a bounty hunter in order to raise money to save his uncle's ranch and also his lady friend's spread as well, but when he returns after being gone for a long period of time, it is to discover that his uncle has been murdered and his lady friend's father falsly accused of the murder, the ranch in the meantime has been auctioned off to the Snake Track outfit who are a murderous bunch, lots of action, none of the cutesy stuff from as in The Texas Horsetrading Company stories. Day of the Scorpion is a story of revenge by Logan Kincaid against a troop of civil war union soldiers, both good westerns.
