Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (The Story Behind Halloween Town)

I am a fanatic of The Nightmare Before Christmas franchise. I love all aspects of the story, the characters, and the theme. Megan Sheperd does a fantastic job filling in the timeline and zoning in on the hidden details you may not have noticed in the film. While reading, I imagined each line spoken by the original voice actor. I love Jack’s realization that what he was searching for the whole time was someone to share the rest of his undead life with—Sally. The purple characters on the black cover are a nice contrast. As I’ve said before in another review, their romance is the driving force behind my experience of The Nightmare Before Christmas in any form. I highly recommend this book.
