Jackson, meet Dick and Jane

Going to private school as a child we learned to read from these books because of the timeless teaching methods and wonderful, easy to understand stories. They were used in conjunction to our Abeka program. I am now buying these books from my young son in hopes he will find the same love of classic books as I did. This book has a slightly updated look to the children and scenery. Nothing dramatic in fact my mother did not even notice it till it was pointed out to her. She learned to read from the same books. It is a board book so your toddler will not rip the pages out and when he is five he can still use it to learn more reading skills. This was a good book purchase for my family and also an exceptional value for two bucks.
