This activity book is designed by a health care assistant working with people living with Dementia . It is designed cover to cover, by hand for people living with Dementia and to support their care givers. It was developed after discovering that some dementia resources are not accessible or suitable for people living with dementia. We want to change that. This book is designed following guidance on making documents dementia friendly. It is printed in full colour throughout and is A4 in size. This book contains carefully considered questions throughout to be completed with a care giver to stimulate personal memories of nature and conversation. We use accessible yellow background colours with large bold plain black text. The layout is simple to aid reading and there are no complex sentences. These colours and font types have been shown to improve reading ability in people living with Dementia. The aim of this book is to provide a resource that is designed for dementia that brings enjoyment to those completing it. This book contains activities relating to nature. There are a variety of activities for different abilities.
