My new favorite author

I can't imagine anyone objecting to this book just because the author tells a story about a loving lesbian couple.The author is a very talented writer.I thought she handled the "unbiblical" story line with great class and insight.Can't wait to read her other books.I hope they all have a lesbian theme included in them.

always inspired

After reading Penelopw Stokes, I always come away feeling cherished and inspired. She looks at tough issues and real life angst with a strong, resolute uplifted heart. The source of this strength, and uplifted spirit must include a loving divinity. She looks at complicated lives with truth and compassion. I look forward to her next book, wondering where it will take us and wondering when.

DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK!

I have read and loved several of Penelope Stokes books and the power of God's love shines brightly through all of them. She carefully crafts her characters and makes you feel strongly about each of them In Delta Belles, her latest novel, she tells the story of four college friends whose lives have many unexpected twists and turns as they mature and sruggle with their problems. It is also a story of love. The author demonstrates that God never closes a door without opening a window - that you just need to discover which window is open! Delta Belles is a very moving ind inspirational novel and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to read it!

This book is an unusual writing in which the author so truthfully and poignantly shows the journey of our lives as relational and spiritual beings. The lives of the women are transformed from life-tangled webs into labyrinths of hope, healing and joy. I felt gifted by her clarity of Christian faith offered so carefully and tenderly. The author owns and offers to the reader the courage to accept the mystery of life, the worth of searching and the value of cherishing our relationships. To me, she gave words to a faith I embrace. This book is a gem!
