A total gem!

Great concept: Every post office has a "dead letter office" where all manner of correspondence gets sent when it can't be delivered. The Editor of this anthology sent out approximately 26 invitations to different writers and gave them the opportunity to fashion a story with the backdrop of something from the Dead Letters office. Some of the stories are funny, some are mystical, some are thought-provoking. I did not find one story that did not please me in some way. This is why I love short stories and especially anthologies. And the Editor, Conrad Williams, selected the best of the best to write the stories. Cannot recommend this enough.
