Great read

Land titles can be valuable possessions. That's what the citizens of a fertile Arizona territory find out when a group of night riders appears to strke fear into the heart of the ranchers. Stolen cattle, dead cattle and hands, and a desperate fear for women and children motivate a few of the ranchers to sell their property for next to nothing to Rafe Borke, Albert Barnett, and Zebron Rawlings. Ben Elliot is not one of those men. Determined to stay and fight with his very life, his last ditch effort will either kill him, or save the valley from a triumvirate of evil land barons. Yikes, this is one killer novel. Ken Conwell writes a captivating book that jumps from scene to scene in a cinematic style. His characters jump off the page, and as all evil men should be, earn your disdain, and Elliot, has you cheering in the last showdown. Even the photo cover in this case works. Damn good book.
