Starting just a year before he died in the famous Battle Of The Alamo, Davy Crockett's Almanack began to appear. This annual collection of adventures - mostly very tall tales - continued into the late 1840's, as more of his "experiences" were "discovered" by his friend and editor Ben Harding (who almost certainly wrote all the stories). While it would not do well as a biography of the famous frontiersman, Congressman and fighter, it certainly adds to the legend. We have many of the Almanacks available - as individual issues, and altogether in THE DAVY CROCKETT'S ALMANACK COLLECTION!Contact us for our complete catalogs atclassicwesternlibrary@yahoo.comNOTE: This magazine, being about 180 years ago, contains material that is racially and ethincally offensive.
