A good book review last 100 years of Chinese history

this book tells the story about three generations of the narrator's family, and at the same time describes the history events of the people's republic of china in during the three generations. its writing technique is sort of like the Stone Angel written by Margret Lauwence, but from a daughter's point of view, revealing the past of her grandmother and her mother. not a bad book to read in ur spare time.
