Little Panda can't sleep.

Dad! I Can't Sleep Little Panda can't sleep so he calls to his mom for a drink. Mom tells Dad it's his turn, since she's "done enough today". So while Mom continues to read the paper, Dad stops ironing the laundry to check on Little Panda. When Little Panda still can't sleep, Dad stops putting away the laundry (Mom is watching TV) and tells him to count sheep. When Little Panda still can't sleep, Dad tells him to try cows, then tigers, then elephants ... until Dad (who finally has to stop doing laundry; Mom is still watching TV and is now drinking tea) arrives in Little Panda's room to get a big surprise!

Dad, I Can't Sleep

This is the one of the cutest children's books I've read. It lightheartedly captures a parent's frustration with a child who won't go to sleep. And, it perfectly identifies with the child who just can't put out of his mind all the excitement of the day. Such a cute and surprising ending. It makes me and my son laugh everytime!
