Beautiful, cozy and surprisingly easy to make, cushions and quilts add the perfect finishing touches to any home d?cor. This book includes 35 step-by-step sewing projects for creating a variety of... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is great. Instructions are clear and there are many photographs of cushions on chairs and other furniture, helping you visualize. There are also pictures and diagrams to help you clearly understand sewing instructions. The books covers over 15 different types of cushions - from the very basic to advanced. (Bow-tie, frilled, piped, envelop, mitred, eyelet, turkish corner to name some.) Some of the areas other than cushions include applique, patchwork, machine quilting, etc. I am sure there is something in here for everyone. In fact, my dilemma is choosing just one from all these projects to work on first. I think you will have the same problem. I picked this book up in a bookstore and was so satisfied with it that I am willing to purchase other books in this series (sew in a weekend series) on-line without actually checking out their contents - something I never do in the case of craft books.
