Disappointing End

I loved the first book. It was colorful. Very interesting retelling. I had high hopes for the Cursed. Unfortunately it didn't deliver. It's repetitive. The lore needed to be flushed out. It seems like the writer had a page cutoff and suddenly tied things up and ended the book. A young reader probably wouldn't notice. It's still a fun journey. It just could've been so much more.
