Fantastic Read!

I absolutely LOVED this book. So much so, in fact, that I purchased both of the previous trilogies in the series shortly after reading this book. The plot development as well as character development was spectacular, and the way the book throws you in at the beginning is a refreshing way to start a novel. I'm looking forward to reading the other two trilogies, as well as the second book once it is released, and the third upon it's eventual release. Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory have spun a fantasy tale of epic proportions with the Obsidian Trilogy and The Enduring Flame, only to be continued by the Dragon Prophecy Trilogy. Absolutely outstanding!

Totally Enthalling!

As always, Mercedes Lackey is an exceptional writer. Combining her talent with James Mallory has produced a very successful collaboration. It has everything you want in a fantasy novel. There was no way I was putting it down. I am still groggy from loss of sleep. Now, I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series. Don't let this one get away from you. It will leave you wanting more.
