Great book with a great lesson

Cricket is a wonderful character. She is a lonely child who finds a stray dog, and for the first time she feels like she has a companion she can rely on. But when the dog's real owner turns up, Cricket finds herself caught between what is legally right, and what is the right thing to do. A heartwarming tale with a great lesson.
