I checked this out from a public library in preparation for a job interview. Just in case they asked me "what improvements do you see for x library?" This was so full of really good ideas to make cheap, seriously patron-impacting improvements. There were other more dollar dependant ideas (like a cafe) that can also make even more drastic improvements to a library. If your library is experiencing a drop in attendance, circulation, or funding you should give this book a read. In these economically depressed times, Borders and Barnes & Nobles are still busy-there is a reason. After reading it, I decided to buy it.
