His father mysteriously vanishes through a hole in the bathroom wall. Trying desperately to keep his life from falling apart, Nathan tries to find his father but bizarre things continue to happen. He ends up in the past, trying to keep his father from ruining their only chance at happiness. COUNTER CLOCKWISE is a fun, quickly paced novel in which the main character grows as he discovers how the past, present, and future are linked. Fun read

Counter Clockwise by Jason Cockcroft is a quick but endearing read about Nathan, a young boy, who lost his mother in a bus accident. His father, Henry, has a hard time accepting her death and tries to change the past but it is up to Nathan, with the help of Bartleby the Beefeater, to stop him in time. Mr. Cockcroft has created characters that you will love to follow through to the end of the story. It makes you think about how the past can't be changed but you can make the best of things and still be happy!
