This book is self explanatory with great examples. The authors Ross, Westerfield, & Jaffe offer an Online Learning Center for this book which has self-Study software, Narrated Student Power Points, Interactive FinSims and much more. These tools are very helpful to the student. I am excited and very pleased with this textbook. Jakki

Required for school but well worth the money.

I needed this book for class and it seems to have a lot of answers in it to meet my assignment criteria. Of couse, reading it for PLEASURE is not what I do, but it's chock full of good business information.

great manual, step by step solution

This manual gives you step by step solutions for every problem. Some books only give even or odd answers, but this one works out every one. Great if you're stumped and need a few hints, or want to check your answers.

Appropriate complement with the Text

The excellent explanation of profound finance thoery using plain language and example with suitable analogy makes the contents clear and concise for student studying under instruction or privately. Besides, the manual provide short listed main points with sufficient exercises giving students practices of relevant practical hand-on experience on real life calculation. Nevertheless, this manual should be used together with the original text which is a comprehensive guide towards corporate finance in theory & practice.

Excellent text

We use this book for both the undergraduate Intermediate Finance and MBA Introduction to Finance courses at University of Central Florida. This book is very easy to read no what your background in finance is. It serves as an excellent reference as well. It seems there are a few people here who try to counterbalance each review that is awarded a 5-star rating with one that is a 1-star rating although their arguments do not hold water. My suggestion is to take a look at this book for yourself and simply return it if you're not happy with it. The fact the so many universities have adopted this text AND continue to use it says a lot.
