EXCELLENT book for new readers!!

This book combines two of my daughter's loves -- cooking and reading -- with the classic Dr. Seuss character, Cat in the Hat. As a Step 1 book in the Step Into Reading series, this book's format is designed to encourage beginning readers. The rhyming text and clear font make it perfect for learning and reviewing phonetic combinations. My daughter could read it by herself within two days! Of course, the Seussical illustrations make this book a hit with everyone whether read by or to the kids. Please note this book was neither written nor illustrated by Dr. Seuss. The author and illustrator, however, did a wonderful job! I couldn't tell the difference. My kids love it!

Another Great Children's Book

This is one of my grandson's favorite books. I've read it to him from the time he was born.

Great book for new readers !

I just bought this book for my 5 year old daughter who is just learning how to read . It has nice easy words for her to sound out and she is very excited that she is able to read it . It has very bright and colorful pictures that are nice to look at.
