Nothing beats the aroma of fresh baked goods, but who has the time to bake from scratch these days? In Cookies, Brownies, Muffins, and More , Anne Egan introduces tricks to make baking without a mix... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a great little book: recipes for a few of each of what's in the title. The "more" would be the cakes and quick breads that are just as tempting as everything else. The ingredients are things we usually have in our kitchen and the recipes are easy to follow. The colored photos are yummy to look at, too. The book would be a great gift for a beginning baker. There are some very helpful hints in the front that would be great for someone just starting out. I'm glad I bought it.

I started off with this book. The recipes are easy to follow and the products taste great. I've never used to go near a kitchen before, but after having successfully made quite a few products from this book, I gained lots of confidence in wielding my tools around the kitchen and am now so addicted to cooking and baking.
