Clyde and the Fat Guy are still enjoying adventures in America. This time, there are experiences flying hot air and helium balloons from the dog's perspective, of course. Additionally, the puppies are dognapped and Clyde and the Fat Guy as well as the Nurse Lady join in the hunt to get the puppies back. The extended family goes on a family tradition of pine nut harvesting in Nevada and everyone enjoys telling a lot of stories, some of which are even true, around a huge campfire. And then, Clyde and his humans get involved in a project to build what was originally designed to be the world's largest trebuchet (similar to a catapult.) The Thor Project began hurling bowling balls and commodes across the Texas plains while Clyde provides commentary and his own unique viewpoints. The burgeoning love in the family and seen in interspecies relationships continues with awful humor, lies, and philosophy begun in books 1 and 2 of the Adventures, Musings, and Sarcasm trilogy. Fun summer reading if you are not expecting to learn particle physics, read Somerset Maugham, or do an intensive study of Greek. I suspect the book is fiction.
