great having just one volume but...

I am delighted to have all of John Greenleaf Whittier's works in one book. He was SO prolific! Aside from the book being a bit weighty, there are rather wide margins, presumably from the 1888 printing. The main problem I'm having is the text could be darker; it's as if the typesetting didn't do a great job because many of the letters aren't clear. The text is legible but may cause eye strain. Regardless, this book will be cherished above many others.
