In only just previewing this book that a friend of mine has, I felt that it would be the book for me. The particlure pages that caught my eye are pages 38,39,40,41,46, & ,47. The fact that an audience does make a difference is so. In the fashion that "she/he doesn't do that with me." A kid's negative attention getters are probably the biggest factor in depression today and for tomorrow. If we were raised in a sense in which we could help eachother instead of trying to ignore, argue, or even be physical more people would have a happier family. Then there are those of us who are a natural at this type of stuff. You know, we see life at their level. The fact that "words make a difference",(page 39), can help if it taught now, especially since there are so many young girls and boys having babies. There needs to be a government mandated program for this type of behavior modifcation. Because there is no telling what kind of home these young people grew up in. Incentives are one of the best ways to incourge kids to act upon good behavior. Not having the opportunity to read the entire book yet, I have a pretty good judge of charcter. This book should help you get on the right track to a better understood child and a future well-tuned adult. Toni Williams
