Provides an explanation of the role of a youth soccer coach and concrete instructions on how to fulfill that role. There are chapters on communicating with athletes and their parents, teaching and developing soccer skills, creating season plans and conducting practices and coaching in game situations.
This book has it all. Skills, drills, tactics, safety, how to organize the team and deal with parents as well as fitness and psychology goals. This is a professional publication, but written with the average youth coach in mind so there are many practical tips and trick that can be immediately implemented with a team. I'll be using this book for YEARS!

A good start for a new coach. Covers all aspects but is very general.
