Great book

This is a great book for learning the fundamentals of nursing assessments. It was very helpful in laying out priorties and explaining procedures. I would recommend this book to new nursing students, like myself.

Simple and Detailed

This book brought my mark from barely a pass to a B just in time! I should have gotten a copy much sooner! They used to recommend this book as a supplement to our texts but pulled it some time ago, probably because it is better than the text - when I found it I was already 3/4 through my course. I will definately recommend it to anyone studying health assessment in the RPN/LPN or RN field!

A must have to go with the book

The clinical companion is a must-have! It is a condensed version of the textbook and makes it easy to carry it with you instead of lugging around a heavy book. It has all of the pertinent information on how to perform the assessment, what the normal findings are, what abnormals are, and the pathophysiology of the abnormal findings! I wish every nursing textbook had a clinical companion!
