Must Have for Civ Pro Date: November 26, 2009 "Well, I must have had a dozen study aides for Civil Procedure; none of them seemed to really work well for me. My first semester I used all of the study aides I had and took good class notes and all I got was a C-. Unhappy with that I decided to buy one more study aide, the Black Letter Outline in Civil Procedure. What a difference it made. Chapter, by chapter, It corresponds with all textbooks and clearly and thoroughly examines, explains and lists all of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for the course. It allowed me not only to understand Civil Procedure, but to anticipate what my professor would say in class. Because of the Black Letter Outline in Civil Procedure, I was able to actively participate in class and make my other classmates frustrated- as they wanted to know how I knew what the professor was going to ask. I knew it because of the Black Letter Outlines- I knew what FRCP allowed for discovery, minimum contacts, summary judgment, directed verdict- EVERYTHING- all because of this book. My professor, a federal court judge was very impressed with my improvement from 1st semester. Bottom line, don't go through Civil Procedure without this book, you will be sorry!!"
