Chronicles of Big Z: Memoirs of a Baby Boomer Grandfather

On my 71st birthday, despite our children acknowledging that I had already shared a good bit of autobiographical material in past writings, both published and otherwise, they requested that I write down some stories from my past. Despite some initial reluctance on my part, for the sake of our grandchildren, both now existing, and others who may yet come to visit us on this planet, I took on this task of memoir-writing and resolved to do it with a smile.

I must confess that once I resolved to do it, subject ideas came forth and I began writing and enjoying it, although it was a lot of work. So now, for posterity, although not a comprehensive autobiography, in addition to my previously published writings, here is a selection of my life stories that I was inspired to share, spurred on as a loving gift to our grandchildren, to whom I dedicate this effort.
