Christmas Roses

Christmas is a special time of year at our house where family and friends gather to enjoy the spirit of the season. But for some people this Season presents anxieties and worries that need resolution.I have written this selection of short stories and poems for you to enjoy and hopefully I have captured the essence of Christmas. For one elderly lady simply finding enough food for a Christmas celebration is the biggest challenge of all. There is Mary who cannot reconcile the fact that Grandpa may be replacing her beloved Gran. Dorothy is haunted by the box of ashes left for her disposal this Christmas season and finally there is Sarah Jane who desperately needs this particular gift for her mother.
