Healing was a major part of the ministry of Jesus and the apostles, but is it still valid for today? In this balanced overview, Pearson maintains that God makes His healing power available to us in a variety of ways, including through doctors and therapists, through the rites, clergy, and sacraments of the church, through the spiritual gifts God has given the church, and through the prayers of all Christians.
Excellent. Easy to read and to study. Brief and yet thorough sections describing various types and modalities of orthodox Christian Healing. Each section also explains when and how each modality is best implemented. This book will enhance your life, your ministry, and your faith. I highly recommend it. Rev. Ann
Personality Type book that works!

I've been interested in the subject of personality types for many years. I took the Myers Briggs profile a long time ago, and thought it was very insightful. Then I came across Canon Pearson's book and found it to be wonderful. Simply and clearly written (that's Mark Pearson's gift, by the way), I guarantee that if you read it, you will learn a great deal about yourself, those you interact with, and perhaps most important, your spouse. Canon Mark tells a great story about how he and his wife (he an extrovert, she an introvert) were struggling with communicating, and how they learned to appreciate one another's feelings, and the different ways they express themselves and need affection and attention. Please buy it. If you are a serious reader, it should be placed in a prominent place on your bookshelf. Deacon Dick Lamb
Indeed a Must-Read Book On Christian Healing!

I have never heard of Mr. Pearson before, but when I saw his book and read it, his book made sense about the subject of healing. It is written in a plain, user-friendly and understandable manner and serves as comprehensive guide to the area of healing from the Christian perspective. What I like most in his book is the way he tackled about the role of prayer in healing, the importance of the healing ministry and the development of the gifts of healing. Straightforward and direct, this book is so easy to read that I finished it in one sitting! It should be read as a good comprehensive guide on the subject of healing from the Christian point of view. Certainly one of the best books on healing that I've read!
