Great in combination with other resources

I've just finished leading a group for adults wanting an introduction to matters of faith, and this book is a great resource, although I found it to be even more effective combined with Frederick Buechner's Wishful Thinking, which aligned with this book amazingly well and provided lots of great contrasts. Having a second source helps to keep Christian Basics from being an instruction manual and makes it an insightful guide.
