My Daughter LOVES these books. She is a huge Dinosaur nut along with Mummies. She has read the whole series at least 3 times each. She got these at 7 and at 9 they don't leave her side much. Bring on more!!!

My son is nearly six and has finished all the Magic Tree House books, and is hungry for more. Thank goodness, a new series is born. It uses the same conceit -- two kids are transported into an amazing and different world where they encounter danger and learn incredible things. Original idea? Not really. But at five, do you really care if an idea is unique? It's loaded with danger, action and scientific facts. Naturally, there's a happy and safe ending. My son devoured this book in a little over an hour and asked for the next one in the series right away. Hurry up, Scholastic. Must we really wait until August for Number 3? It's a long summer...
