This book is an absolute "must have" in your library. This book is packed with great information and exceptional advice. I loved how the author addresses the areas of key importance and shares her own personal experience with us around topics such as clothing tips, social setting situations, communication style and business style. This is a great book for both the professional just entering the workforce as well as seasoned professionals who need to step it up a notch - and simply change one thing at a time. I highly recommend this book! I loved it!

I couldn't put this book down! Although I'm currently unemployed (well, I'm a stay-at-home mother), I still feel like this book helped. There are so many things I learned from it that I can start doing today! It's not just for those who are in the workforce. I definitely learned a lot from it, and feel more confident for when I do rejoin the workforce. I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE!
A lot of examples and practical tips

I read the book from first page to last, and I absolutely loved it. It is practical and easy to read. I found especially useful the part about clothes that make the most impact at various business events. Among other things it included practical tips on styles, colors, brands and prices. After having read this part I recalled the power of navy blue. Also, I enjoyed the part about the 10 most common excuses for not changing, for example, feeling insufficiently educated or not having enough experience. Anna has provided tips on how to get over these insecurities and helped me to realize that I should not be afraid to try something new just because I haven't done it before. A great book with lot of examples and practical tips. Strongly recommended for everyone who would like to do even better especially in this tough market.
Good ideas and common sense can make change easier

This book reflects the voice of experience. Before buying it, I checked out Ms. Wildermuth's website and it was clear that she had the background and credentials to provide valuable advice. She earned her stripes as an image consultant, but the book is even more valuable, I think, when she offers advice on strengthening communication skills, enhancing your executive "presence", dealing with difficult "corporate" moments, starting a program of networking, or leavening some of the bumps in a one-on-one relationship. There are many books to choose from in this genre, but few that go beyond the pablum of your first corporate training managerial skills course. Ms. Wildermuth's book can take you several steps further.
Important book to help you put forth your best self

One can not underestimate the importance of image in the corporate workplace. I have seen good performers held back by poor image and poor performers advance drastically due to having a very professional image. Ideally we would all be strong in both categories. This book addresses in a friendly straight-forward manner the actions you need to take to ensure you project a professional image. It addresses such items as networking, speaking, clothes and self-confidence. The other good thing about this book is that it proposes manageable change. You can get started down a better path by changing just one thing, for example filling out a simple sheet to prepare your elevator speech. Overall I highly recommend this book.
