Mr. Cain's book, "CEO of Self" is a good career blueprint. His rise to the top began with few advantages and certainly can serve as an inspiration to those climbing the corporate ladder. His example regarding the importance of gaining Profit and Loss (P & L) responsibility is helpful. In my career counseling work, I encounter people who are NOT aware of the value of these kinds of strategies.
