I mainly used the CCNA book by Laura Chappell to study with, but the day before and the morning of the test I used CCNA Exam Notes to review with. At the end of each chapter are sections titled: 'Exam Essentials', 'Key Terms and Concepts', and 'Sample Questions'. These sections were EXTREMELY useful to me while reviewing for the test. I wouldn't recomend this book as your primary study guide, but I would DEFINITLY buy...

This book breaks each objective down to the stuff you really need to know. I also used the larger Cybex book, also by Lammle, just for more background info. However, this book is really all you need to pass the exam. I got a 906 out of 1000 using primarily this book!

The books method of reviewing the same highlights and hammering the important items in, in quick succession is a great method for teaching. He knows the material, and what is important.

Took the test about 2 weeks ago and missed it with 61% (68% to pass); took it again yesterday and passed with 87%. Wish I could have gotten my hands on this book earlier! Very concise and points out essential items to know for the exam. I also have the Study Guide (which is good), but I had a hard time studying with it (info overload). As I don't have much hands-on experience with routers, I also used CBTs and watched...
