may spark an interest in reading

My 4 year old son loves to be read to, but did not show any interest in learning to read himself. I bought this book so that he could be a part of the reading process, even if he wasn't actually reading. Once involved, he instantly became interested in learning the words surrounding the pictures. I feel the pictures boosted his confidence, and I plan to buy more picture clue books.

Excellent Learning Tool for Struggling Readers

This fun Rebus book comes complete with flash cards in the back to help your student learn new vocabulary. My daughter struggles with reading and she enjoyed working with this form of book. It is a popular character - Scooby-Doo in a Rebus form that allows the beginning reader to succeed at reading. I would like to have more of the same.
