As seen on TV, this is the thrilling adventure of Sakura Kinomoto--perhaps the world's most intrepid fourth grader--as she attempts to lasso all of the magical Clow Cards and return them to their... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The Cardcaptor Sakura series is a good series, one of my favorites. This book is like the sugar in cake, or strawberries in strawberry shortcake. Being the fifth of the sixth in the series, readers must be saying: Finnally! Almost done! but this book makes you wish that the series was never ending. The reader can feel that the author was having fun making the book. It's a ripe banana!
An EXCELENT manga!!!

Ok, so I know the book looks so much thinner and smaller in comparison to the others, but Book % is my favorire- mostly because of the school play(tee hee!). As usual, CLAMP has done a superior job on the artwork, and there is a lot of humor. Also, there is a nice sweet episode without card-collecting where Sakura meets a nice old man on a family vacation.A wonderful book to add to your collection, and just as good for starters if you're new to manga!
Can't wait for the next one

This book continues the MANGA version (no Meilin, only 25 cards, etc) of CCS, which is just as funny and entertaining as the first one."Episode" 1: Sakura is going on vacation in a borrowed summer house! But who is the mysterious old man who stays in the house next door? And who is his hidden partner?"Episode" 2: Sakura's class is going to do a play in the upcoming talent show! But their hilarious production of "Sleeping Beauty" is cut short by the appearance of the strongest card (actually, one of the two strongest) of the clow! Will Sakura be able to break the spell of this card by discovering her own inner power? And will Kero-chan's exsistance be revealed?"Episode" 3- part 1: AARRGH! Cliffhanger! Sakura, Syaoran, and Tomoyo go with Yukito to the cake shop, where Tomoyo discovers Syaoran's hidden feelings! But everything is cut short by the appearance of Firey, the strongest and wildest of the 4 elements, when it encircles them on the road!I'd say get this as soon as you can, then wait patiently for the next! And for everyone who says that this one is a ripp-off, the paper is like 50% thinner and 100% better quality! And for everyone who says that the book itself [stinks], do you want us to go and learn Japanese just cause of a couple of nicknames (to save space), a couple of ...jokes, and a couple of mis-translations? This book is an EXCELLENT deal!
Paper Quality & Width of Book.

I read a couple of reviews which complained about this volume being shorter, actually the change is the paper used to print the pages on. If you check your books, there's still about 180 pgs, however T-Pop is now using a lighter weight paper. This makes the book thinner, but also this new paper isn't as stiff & you won't have the problems with pages falling out as in past T-Pop releases. Also, according to an artist friend of mine, it actually is a better quality paper in general.
One of the best!!!!
