The Best One

This is perhaps Mr. Pilkey’s greatest entry in the Captain Underpants series. It is Avengers-esque in its scope, and the story takes many turns with a lot of buildup before a delightfully intriguing payoff. You could call the ending disappointing, but the next book helps with any qualms regarding that anyway.
