I am in my second childhood when it comes to canoes. Did not care about them until a few years back with I traded my desire for speed and action for serenity. For me canoeing helps me find serenity. This was a good book for the novice canoeist. I enjoyed it and plan to save it for future refernece. Also if you are interested in any outdoor activites. Cliff Jacobson is a wonderful outdoorsman. He loves the outdoors and enjoys teaching others.
