Fantastic photography

This is a fantastic book of photography, dogs or not. Great use of depth of field and composition. I think that anyone who's into photography will enjoy this. As for the content itself, the subject is treated much better and maturely than a typical "dog photo book". The artistic sensibility is more akin to an ueber-realistic photojournalism than a cutesy pin-up calendar.

Wonderfully entertaining browsing for all dog owners

Canine showcases fifty black and white photographs by Henry Horenstein of different dogs at work and play. All of the canine emotions are captured through an artistic lens with pictures of dogs flying through the air, napping on the sofa, at dog shows, or just showing off.
