a masterpiece

This work is nothing short of a masterpiece. If you're just being introduced to poetry or Guillaume Apollinaire, this is a must-read. I can't even begin to describe the depth and meaning found in every word of this book. The only complaint I have is that the translations were not always accurate, but with a book of this size, there are inevitably going to be small translation errors. Read it! It will change your life.
