Don't Be Fooled By Poor Reviews

It seems most of these reviewers are confusing the subject matter with the quality of the writing itself. Don't be deterred by this. Though the author indeed can be a jerk or self-indulgent or dare I say, a cad - his writing style is well worth your time. Clever but not difficult, concise but full of quick quips, humorous but not absurd.

CAD: Confessions of a Toxic Bachelor

This book is really fun to read and its incredibly well written. I loved following the author's trials and tribulations, I have never read a book that chronicled the dating world from the man's point of view. Throughout, the writing is witty and smart, much more so than most of the dates we all go on looking for the one and only!Buy it and enjoy.

A hilarious, exhilarating ride through the 1990s

Marin has written a book about men and women that really tells the definitive story about life in the 1990s. It's about the intersection of celebrity culture and the rest of us who aren't celebrities but who feel the need to act like celebrities and live like celebrities in order to have authentic experiences. It's one of the funniest, truest books I've ever read.
