This is the sequel to In Honor Bound, and I think it my favorite of DeAnna Julie Dodson's books. The ending in particular is extremely touching. The plot for this book is very intriguing, and I love how the author never puts in any details that will not be significant to the main plot. Consequently, it's very difficult to put the book down!
Excellent

If you've ever read "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers and enjoyed it, you'll love "By Love Redeemed". With a similar story line and excellent writing style and skill, I highly reccommend this book to anyone.
Great read!

I thought this book was a great read...and a great sequel to "In Honor Bound." One question though: where are the "graphic sexual sequences"? If hugging and kissing and the indication that a married couple does in fact have intimate relations is "graphic," I'm not sure how P J Clark would describe the Bible's Song of Solomon! Anyway, loved the book and the other two in the series.
Couldn't put it down.

As with the first book, this one is wonderfully written. I was a little desturbed by the graphic sexual sequences though, for a Christian novel. It is worth the ready though. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
This book is excellent- as good as In Honor Bound!

By Love Redeemed is beautifully written. It does an excellent job of picking up right where the first book left off, and it is just as exciting! You will have a hard time putting this book down! Not only do you learn more about Philip and Rosalynde, but here is the story of Thomas and his bride in breathtaking detail. The book is touching, written so the reader actually feels the emotions- the grief, frustration, anger, and finally hope- that the characters go through. Not just a tale of real love, it is also a tale of redemption. It is the tale of one who has the fruit the Spirit growing inside him- an honorable gentleman, and of another who is trying to bear such fruit. Even if you aren't a fan of romantic medieval fiction, you will love this book if you have ever wondered what the world would be like if two people who loved each other actually were to stand by each other through thick and thin. This book will make you long again for the days of chivalry. You are going to love it!
