Great book for all business analysts

Even if you are not working directly on a Business Intelligence project, this book is a must-read for all business analysts. The book is readable and correctly emphasizes the importance of quality requirements and analysis. Business analysts should always be thinking about better ways for their stakeholders to make decisions and run their organizations. Swain gives great insights and suggestions for requirements elicitation and analysis. He also explains the overall discipline at a level everyone should be aware of.

Good book to cover the basics as well as touch on some advanced topics

This book is great for introducing yourself to the topic of BI. A good read if you are new to the subject, or if you want to have a reference.

Excellent book

I work as a senior business systems analyst for a large corporation and have focused primarily in the area of Business Intelligence for about three years. I would recommend this book to the business analyst over the systems engineer.

Excellent primer

Well written overview. Humorous and easy to read. The author really knows the topic. A great addition to your business strategy library.
